It's hard to write things like this, but my name is Anthony, and one of my best friends in the world, who has meant so much to me and my family, and his family and ours have had so many great times together. Cruz passed away unexpectedly overnight last Thursday evening. Cruz was a man full of energy, always bringing smiles, laughter, and love to everything he did, with a purpose to help and bring people up when they are down and going through the most. He helped me on so many occasions, whether it was at the club working with me or anything I needed help with. Cruz was always loved by his Fever family, always walking the female staff to their vehicles to protect them from downtown late at night after the club. He protected everyone in there like they were family, and we could always count on him to be right there anytime we needed him. Several late-night taco nights at the Egg Cetera with the security crew and our favorite owner, Beverly. So many awesome IHOP nights as well after the club. One of the pillars of nightlife in Wichita.

Since it was such a sudden passing, and of course, clubs do not provide benefits for burial, I want to help and set up this GoFundMe to help pay for his funeral expenses. At a time of need for a family trying to heal from a tragic event, from a mother burying her son and a brother helping, they as well need our help! Prayers and hugs for his family in this hard time. He touched so many lives and helped so many along the way. Help me help his family be able to celebrate his life and make his services beautiful. No mother should have to bury a child.
