The world became a darker place when we lost the shining light that was my sister, Corinne Klinetop, last May.

Not only was she a caring, compassionate, fierce warrior in everything she did in life and with everyone she met, she went into everyday managing to make the world a better place just by having been here.

Along with leaving behind her parents, her “baby” sister, and countless family members and friends who adored her, she also left behind her husband Todd and her two young children, John and Aislin.

John, 10 years old, and Aislin, 7 years old, were my sister’s world. Her love for them showed every single day in everything she did.

Corinne also chose a career that allowed her to help others in need. She worked at VECC Emergency Call Center as a 911 dispatcher. It was her passion and something she excelled at. And even once she could no longer work, she still found ways to help others every day.

Our family hasn’t been able to hold the celebration of life she deserves to have due to finances. So we are asking for those that knew and loved her, even those who didn’t know her personally, to give whatever they’re able to so that we can give her a memorial she’d be proud of.
