A Celebration of Life for Coach Gene

Planned with love by his family

Our family is putting together a celebration of life for our father—something simple, heartfelt, and outdoors, just the way he would have wanted. A day to honor the way he lived: full of love, stories, laughter, and community. The celebration will take place on May 3, 2025 at 11am-3pm at San Jose Municipal Rose Garden

This will be a potluck celebration, and we warmly invite you to bring a dish to share—something that reminds you of time spent together, or simply something made with love.

If you're unable to attend but would still like to be part of the celebration in spirit, we welcome any contributions toward food and beverages for the event. Your support means the world to us.

We don’t have a specific goal for any donations—this is truly about sharing love and coming together to celebrate our father.

Any remaining funds will be donated in Coach Gene’s name to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, an organization that reflects the strength, service, and values our father stood for.
