On November 2nd, our community lost a beloved friend, mentor, winemaker, and artist at heart — Christian Roguenant. His sudden passing has left an immense void in the Paso Robles and Central Coast wine community, where he spent decades inspiring, mentoring, and lifting up everyone around him.

Christian was many things: a brilliant craftsman, a generous collaborator, and a warm soul who made everyone feel welcome. Most importantly, he was a devoted husband to Lois and a proud father to Blake, age 26.

The community has come together to host a Celebration of Life in Christian’s honor:

To ensure this gathering reflects Christian’s spirit of generosity and hospitality, we are raising funds to cover the cost of food, venue-related rentals, and event essentials. Venue was generously donated.

Every dollar raised will go directly to covering these expenses.

If contributions exceed the amount needed, all remaining funds will be donated to the Cuesta Community College Music Program in Christian’s name — honoring his lifelong love of music and supporting the next generation of creators.

This celebration is being organized by friends and colleagues who loved Christian dearly and want to come together to honor his memory in the way he deserves: with good wine, community, and heartfelt stories.
