Our loving wife, daughter, sister, and friend Candy Stanley passed away unexpectedly yesterday on April 8th, 2025. Candy underwent an emergency open-heart surgery for aortic dissection that ended up spreading to her brain. If you knew Candy, you know that she cared about people and she overcame every obstacle thrown in her path. Please help us in remembering the immense joy and light she brought to all of our lives. She is already so missed. How would she not be though, being the person she was? There are no words to describe the pain we are feeling in this difficult time, but this is about Candy, not us. Any help towards the costs of Candy’s arrangements will be greatly appreciated.

Donations can be made to Dunn Funeral Home (West & Dunn) at 208 W Main St. in Benson, NC.

Candy’s viewing will be this Saturday April 12th, 2025 at 1:30pm at Dunn Funeral Home with the service following at 3pm. Following the service, we will go to Melvin-Autry Cemetery in Roseboro for Candy’s burial.
