Celebrate Butch's Life: Help Us Honor Him

Hi Family and Friends,

It's with a broken heart that I announce the passing of my love, Butch (Howard Thorpe), on Monday, 06/16/2025. I still can't believe it. He's been ill for quite a while but was still running errands, etc. They sent him home on hospice on Friday, and he passed three days later. Kate and I are trying to put together a Celebration of Life for him. The date we post here is a guestimate. We'll keep y'all posted. If any of you want to say something or have a funny story about Butch at the Celebration, please feel free to do so.

We are struggling financially, and the funeral home wants most things up front. I've been in touch with the insurance company, but they take time. Most of them want a Death Certificate, and they cost $20+. I'll need at least 4 of those. Everything's still in process, and I am expecting calls regarding this.

I appreciate anything you can give. I'd like to have a really nice service for Butch. He deserves it and so much more. Much love to all, and thank you for being there for us.
