Billy George was an embodiment of encouragement. He had a main character energy; was the life of any party; backbone of our family; unpaid therapist to any one willing to listen; never knew a stranger, kind-of-guy. Before getting shot in the face left him paralyzed from the neck down, his life already had trauma and limitations, giving him a unique perspective on the many adversities he'd endure living as a quadriplegic. Complications from paralysis are vast, and Billy looked death right in the face several times; only to run him over with his wheelchair! He never wanted pity, he never minimized anyone's problems by comparing them to his own, he gave to beggars, he prayed for and forgave those who sinned directly against him. He had an amazing sense of humor as an amateur sit-down comedian. As a survivor, he spoke out against gun violence, was an advocate for handicap accessibility; though thought of himself as handicapable. He was a content creator, editing hundreds of hours of college football clips as a die-hard OSU fan, a talented artist drawing and painting with his mouth, a creative poet and writer. An absolute pillar in his community around the OSU medical center. He's the butterfly boy, a grandson, son, brother, cousin, uncle, nephew, lover, friend AND! organ donor!!!! His impact of inspiration was far reaching because above all, he lived a Christian lifestyle as a bible believer and follower of Christ. Billy was 'Billz on wheelz' but he traded his wheelchair for wings. Being so popular and well loved, we would like to have a celebration of his life for all his supporting cast to come together. Please, we need help. Anything will do, thank you.
