I am Denise Irving, wife of Michael Irving. I tearfully write this post about my best friend Mike Irving (Big Mike), who very unexpectedly died 1 week ago due to a blood clot in his lungs that caused a heart attack.

Mike was a great father, a best friend to so many, and always had a joke to put a smile on your face. Most importantly he was the first person to get invited to potlucks because of his exceptional culinary skills.
