Any help will be greatly appreciated Buck LeRoy Truett, affectionately known to all as "Big Daddy Buck," aged 88, of Lexington, SC, concluded his earthly journey on July 25, 2024. His leisure time often found him amidst the excitement of horseracing or engaged in the mental challenge of backgammon.

Along with all the amazing family and friends whom he cherished!
The family will welcome friends for visitation on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 6pm to 8pm. The funeral service by Paster Brian is scheduled for Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 2pm. A graveside prayer by Paster Jennifer will be observed at Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 W Dunbar Rd W, West Columbia, SC 29170, where Buck will be laid to rest.
Arrangements for Mr. Truett are under the care of Thompson Funeral Home. With the passing of Buck, a legacy of integrity, leadership, and joyful engagement with the world continues to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Big Daddy Buck never met a stranger. The kindest, most loving man that made an imprint on all the lives that had the honor of knowing him. He will forever be an impact on the lives he touched. Known to do anything and everything he possibly could for anyone in need. His love was hard, he was a monarch.
Big Daddy Buck had left this world to be with his Lord, or as he referred to him HIS COACH. Our lives and the world have lost a true gentleman.
