Honoring the Life of Betty O’Brien,
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beautiful and full-of-life Betty, who left this temporary home on earth on May 23rd, 2025. While her absence leaves a deep emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, we take comfort in knowing she is now walking in true freedom and peace — reunited at last with her precious daughter, Tess.
Betty was so much to so many — a devoted mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, mother-in-love, friend, and a stand-in mom to countless others. She had a rare gift for making those around her feel seen, heard, and deeply loved.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband Andrew O’Brien, her mother Brenda McClard, sisters Becky Long and Abby Blevins, and her children: Calvin DeBlauw, Paige DeBlauw, Madison DeBlauw, Chris O’Brien, and Michael O’Brien. She also leaves behind their spouses and partners, who became like her own: Hanna DeBlauw, Brandon Hoffman, Jonathan Baldassari, Cavan O’Niell, and Kalie O’Brien. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Johnny, Amelia, Ember, Colson, Lincoln, and Drew.
We invite all who knew and loved Betty to join us in celebrating her life:
