In Loving Memory of Axel Piedra

October 11, 1992 – August 10, 2025

On the night of August 10, our world changed forever. Our beloved Axel Piedra was tragically taken from us in a traffic accident. He was only 32 years old — a young man full of dreams, love, and life yet to be lived.

Axel was more than a son, fiancé, brother, and friend — he was the heart of our family. Born in a small town in San José, Costa Rica, he carried with him a warmth and kindness that touched everyone he met. He loved his mother deeply, cherished his fiancée with all his heart, and was a loyal friend. His laughter could fill a room, his smile could brighten the darkest day, and his presence made you feel like you belonged.

He was a man who found joy in life’s simplest gifts — listening to his favorite music, being surrounded by animals, and walking in nature’s beauty. He taught us to slow down, appreciate the little moments, and love without holding back.

Losing him so suddenly has left a pain that words cannot describe. Our hearts are broken, and the weight of his absence is heavy. Along with our grief, we now face unexpected financial challenges as we try to give Axel the farewell he deserves.

If you knew Axel, you know the light he carried. If you never met him, know that he was someone who made this world better simply by being in it. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help us honor his memory and support our family during this heartbreaking time.
