Honoring the Life and Legacy of Angelo Estrada

Hello neighbors, friends, and all who were lucky enough to know him,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Angelo Estrada, a man who was not just part of Jersey City, but part of its very soul.

Angelo had no immediate family, yet he was never alone. He was family to friends, to neighbors, to students, to every organization and community he poured his heart into. He gave his time, his energy, and his love freely, never asking for anything in return. Whether he was teaching, performing, or volunteering, Angelo had a way of making every person feel important, heard, and cared for.

There are people who pass through life quietly, and then there are people like Angelo, who leave a mark on every heart they touch. His kindness rippled outward in ways we may never fully know. Today, we feel the weight of his absence, but also the warmth of everything he gave.

Now, it is our turn to show up for him.

We are asking for help to give Angelo the farewell he truly deserves: a dignified, loving tribute that reflects the life he lived and the love he shared. Funds raised will go toward:

    •    Cremation

    •    Church service and life celebration

    •    Symbolic memorial services

    •    Final resting niche

Any remaining funds will be donated in Angelo’s name to the Saint Matthew’s Food Pantry, continuing his lifelong mission of helping others in need.
