Celebrate Amalia Velez's Life: Help with Funeral Expenses

In Loving Memory of Amalia Velez.

It is with heavy hearts that we are saying goodbye to our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

My mom was an incredible woman who touched the lives of everyone she met. She had a unique ability to make friends wherever she went, and her warmth and kindness were felt by all. In late January of 2024, we received the devastating news that she was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. Although the whole year was long and challenging, my mom still got up every day with a positive attitude.

In August, we celebrated a significant milestone as she rang the bell, having fought cancer and beaten it. Unfortunately, a few months later, we received the heartbreaking news that the cancer had returned in an advanced stage. Despite this, my mom never gave up. She fought with unwavering strength and kept her faith in our Savior throughout her battle. She was a true woman of God, and her faith was an inspiration to everyone around her.

My mom passed away at home, surrounded by friends, family, and those who were closest to her. Her spirit and determination remain a testament to her incredible character. We are seeking support to cover funeral costs and to honor her memory in a way that reflects the love and joy she brought into our lives.
