Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

My name is Rajia Johnson, better known as Gigi. I thought had at least another 20 years with her, but unfortunately, I have to announce that my mother Alisia Johnson better known as Lisa or Miss Lisa, passed away suddenly Monday, June 16th. She was not only a mother, but an aunt, a sister, a caregiver, a friend, and so much more! She meant so much to so many people! A breath of fresh air to everyone she met. She knew how to make you laugh, and always offered a helping hand and a warm welcome. She will be truly missed. You only get one mom, and I honestly don't know what I'm going to do without her!

I'm still trying to process the fact that this is even happening. That this is real life and not a dream. And as we all know, time waits for no one, and regardless of what emotional toll it takes on you, the funeral service and everything else has to be arranged. I want to make sure that we're able to send her off in a way that she would prefer and that she deserves. But things cost money, and trying to navigate the financial burden of a death in the family isn't easy, especially when your mind is all over the place as is.

I'm reaching out to our community, family, and friends, in hopes of raising some money to help cover the funeral/repass costs. Any amount you're able to donate would be greatly appreciated, no matter how big or small. And if you're unable to contribute, just a simple share on your timeline would be very helpful.
