We are a group of Hawai'i public school educators, committed to our profession and dedicated to Hawai'i's keiki.
This campaign aims to raise money for the second annual ECET2 Hawai'i conference. ECET2 stands for Elevating and Celebrating Effective Teaching and Teachers. It was born out of a desire to provide a forum for exceptional teachers to learn from one another and celebrate the teaching profession. Inspired by the national ECET2 conference and supported by various local and national partners, we are excited to again host this inspirational and dynamic weekend for the teachers of Hawai'i's schools.
Imagine 80+ teachers coming together for a dynamic weekend of collaboration-- the payoff of this weekend increases exponentially as these teachers carry this enthusiasm back to their individual classrooms and impact every one of their students.
To ensure that teachers across the state can attend this conference, the money will be used for basic costs associated with travel, lodging, and food. In order to elevate and grow the profession, we provide resources for teachers to strengthen their community outreach and further develop their leadership.
