My name is Kayla and on August 24th we received a call that left us all in shock. After 2 long weeks of fighting in a hospital bed I was told today would be the last time I would see my mother. Kiss her, hold her, and be able to talk to her. I am heartbroken to share my mom passed before the night was over. As you can imagine, I am still at a loss for words. My mom was and will always be my bestfriend.

My mom loved going to church, she felt peace and happiness with God. It was her salvation. She would give her every ounce of love and everything she had to her church. She loved her furbaby Luna who always kept her company. My mom and I enjoyed going for walks each morning to grab a coffee and spend some quality time, lauging, talking, or even crying together. She loved spending time with her kids, sisters, mother, nieces, nephews and her entire family. She always had a smile and was excited to see everyone she loved and cared for.

I’ve started this so that my brothers Quinn and Chace, along with myself can give our loving mother a beautiful service and burial- a time where our family and friends can come together, honor her life, share memories and find comfort during this heartbreaking time. My mom was the most resilient women I knew. Her wish was for all her children to strive and grow up to be everything and more, and I will do everything and anything to fulfill that.
