This upcoming school year marks a historic milestone: the 100th anniversary of North Side High School. As we celebrate a century of community and achievement, the North Side High School Booster Program is reaching out to request your support for one of the most accomplished and hardworking student groups in our community.
For years, our band relied on “Big Red,” an equipment trailer that served us well but has now deteriorated beyond repair and is no longer safe for travel. Last season, we were fortunate to borrow a farm trailer to transport our instruments and props; however, that is no longer a viable long-term solution. To continue competing at the highest level, our students need a reliable, professional semi-trailer of their own. Our Marching Legends will use this new trailer to represent our school and community as they travel to compete across the state and take part for the first time in Bands of America.
Our program has a long-standing tradition of excellence, both on the field and in the classroom. The Marching Legends are 43-time ISSMA state finalists, and the Wildsiders Jazz Band are the current Defending State Champions. By supporting our Marching Legends, every amount raised will be invested towards a new trailer. Any additional funds will help towards uniforms, props, and other band-related expenses. 100% of all donations, no matter how big or small, will help empower our new generation of leaders.
This is why we have created a GoFundMe page. We are reaching out to our families, alumni, supporters, and friends to band together to make this wonderful opportunity a reality. Every donation is appreciated and valued. For those who are able to donate generously, there is an opportunity to leave a special recognition on the trailer if you wish.
· Any donations of $500 or greater will have a designated line under the “Special Thanks” section on the trailer. This can be placed as a name, dedication, or memorial.
· Donations greater than $1000 will have an opportunity to have a business logo or larger personal mention.
