Can you donate £10 to help us reach £10,000?
Newark Book Festival is a not for profit community focussed literature festival and it's our 10th birthday in 2026!
Over the past 9 years we have reached over 45,000 people from audiences to creatives, stallholders to volunteers, Young Ambassadors to schools. We've taken NBF on tour and welcomed amazing authors & artists into our family and community. There's been trails, exhibitions, competitions, Bookbench launches and not forgetting Barry the Bookworm, our mascot!
We didn't even pause during Covid, with our busiest year as we split the festival into a series of chapters, from online events (remember the wonderful Imaginarium!) to measured wellbeing workshops, bubbled events and gifting care packages to our Festival Friends and books to the community and schools.
But we need your help to make our Year 10 that extra bit special, all funds will go towards our fundraising campaigns to allow us to not only deliver a beautiful Year 10 bursting with creative goodness and events but to consolidate the festival so we can create a sustainability plan to help secure the Festival for the next 10 years, finding new ways to keep our Young Ambassadors at the heart and helping to keep making a difference in the community.
Have you been part of our story? Or are you passionate about books, literature, writing and supporting the arts in making a difference to people's lives?
If so please join us, pledge your 10 and spread the word to 10 (at least!)
And become part of our story
from our hearts to your hearts,
Sara, Via, Jess, Georgia, the Board & all our existing family x
