Gracias
With broken hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Romelia Alvillar, a mother and grandmother who was the heart of our family. Her smile was contagious, and her love was endless. In her hometown, children lovingly called her “La Abuelita,” and in the ICU, she won over the hearts of the nurses, who nicknamed her “ICU Grandma” because of the joy she brought them.
For two weeks, she fought with all her strength in the ICU. We prayed, hoped, and held on to every second, but God needed an angel. The pain of losing her is indescribable, but we find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, watching over us from heaven.
We want to honor her the way she deserves and are raising funds to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, giving her a farewell as beautiful as the life she lived. Any donation, no matter the amount, would mean the world to our family. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you share this message and keep our family in your prayers. Thank you.
