Education Fund for the Flynn Family

Karen Flynn, loving wife, daughter, sister, friend, and mother of three, passed away unexpectedly on September 7, 2021.

Beyond being a beloved family member, Karen was an incredibly caring and dedicated delivery nurse at Hartford Hospital. She worked hard to achieve her goal of becoming a nurse, attending Ona M. Wilcox College of Nursing and later earning her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Hartford.

All three of Karen’s children are currently pursuing their own college degrees. Each of them follows in their mother’s footsteps, being highly motivated to achieve their own career goals and to help others. Karen’s son, Aidan, is an aspiring doctor who just started his undergraduate experience at Northeastern University in Boston at the end of August. Meghan is studying at Southern Connecticut State University to become a speech language pathologist, and Lauren is pursuing her Ph. D. in Psychology at the University of New Hampshire.
