Dzavid Cekic tested positive for coronavirus mid-December and has been in the intensive care unit for an extended period of time fighting complications from coronavirus. I will provide updates per the Family’s permission. At this time, I ask you for your thoughts and prayers.
If you know the Cekic family, you know they would never ask for help. However, Dzavid and his family are the first to give their help to anyone in need. It is time for us to help them!
I’ve watched one of the strongest and most courageous individuals in my life (Adel, Dzavid’s son) transition into a father role and business owner all while having a full-time job. Whether it has been the nights cooking or waiting tables at their family-owned business, shopping for the restaurant and managing unimaginable bills at the age of 23, he has done it all with the support of his two sisters and mother all while keeping a brave face as they support each other through this difficult time.
Dzavid will be facing many obstacles and treatments on his way to his recovery. In preparation for the immense emotional and financial toll this will take on his family, let’s do what we can to help!
This GoFundMe is going to not only help with anticipated medical expenses, but to help the Cekic family and to help their business Dino’s Italian Eatery. As a family-owned business, they have no corporate parent or other safety net to help the business in such a difficult time as this. They have been an integral part of the community for many years and his family has vowed to make their father proud and keep the business going, and now is our time to support them.
