Cedrick Harris "Family Man"

Greetings Friends and Family,

It is with broken hearts we announce the loss of our beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Cedrick Harris. He transitioned on the morning of October 27, 2023. Cedrick was a dedicated father to his two children, and a loving husband to his wife. He was a good son to his mother. Cedrick was well known and loved by many. He lived for his family and worked to provide opportunities for them to live a good life.

He loved sports, especially “Washington” and “Florida State University,” football teams and “The Miami Heat,” basketball team. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his loved ones. He had a love for his work family and friends and loved his children most of all. He was preparing to celebrate his daughter Zariya’s graduation from L.P. N. Nursing school in December. His son Zackary made him proud by choosing to leave home and begin his first year as a student at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. The choices Zack and Zariya made filled Cedrick’s heart with joy and made him want to work harder to ensure that both his kids could achieve their dreams as a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) and Orthodontist.

Our hearts are shattered, as we are coming to grips with the reality that there are so many things that we will not be able to share and experience with Cedrick. We are thankful for the prayers and assistance that we have received over the past couple of weeks.

We are asking for donations that will go directly to a college fund for both kids. The loss of a father and provider is a difficult one, and we want Zack and Zariya to be able to complete their studies without the financial burdens that a loss like this one can cause. Please help keep Ced's dreams alive for his children.

We thank you for keeping the family lifted in prayer and for helping us continue Cedrick’s legacy of love.
