Support Cedrich : Urgent Knee Implant Replacement Needed

Donation protected

Hello, my name is Rizza and I’m the proud mother of Cedrich Q. Dizon. As a parent, nothing is more painful than seeing your child suffer — and nothing more powerful than witnessing their strength. Cedrich was diagnosed with bone cancer at just 14 years old, and I watched him fight with courage, grace, and unwavering faith. By God’s grace, he survived. But now, he faces another challenge — one we cannot overcome without help. This is our story, and I humbly ask you to take a moment to read and, if you can, support Cedrich in walking freely once again.

My name is Cedrich Q. Dizon, and I’m 20 years old — born on October 18, 2004. In 2019, my life changed completely when I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare and aggressive type of bone cancer. To treat it, I had to undergo intensive therapy and have my left knee replaced with a metal implant (Implantcast) just to be able to walk again.

Thanks to years of treatment, countless prayers, and the unwavering support of my family, I’m incredibly grateful to share that as of October 2024, I am officially a cancer survivor.

For the past five years, I’ve lived with a metal knee implant that allowed me to go back to school, walk, move, and live life like any other young adult. I’ve always been deeply thankful to God for this second chance.

However, recently I began experiencing severe pain in my left knee again. After consulting my orthopedic doctor, I was told that a screw in the implant has come loose. To make matters worse, the specific Implantcast model I have — which is manufactured in Germany — is no longer available in Southeast Asia. Because of this, the entire implant must now be replaced, not just the damaged part.

The cost of the new implant and surgery is ₱800,000 (roughly $14,000 USD) — an amount that is far beyond what my family and I can afford on our own.

So today, with a hopeful heart, I’m reaching out to ask for your help.

I’ve already overcome cancer once, and I’m determined not to let this setback stop me from living a full and active life. With your generosity, I can undergo the surgery I need and continue walking — pain-free — into the future I’ve fought so hard for.

Any amount, big or small, would mean so much to me. Even just sharing this campaign with others can help more than you know.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story. Your support, prayers, and kindness mean the world to me.

With gratitude,
Cedrich Q. Dizon
