A Miscarriage of Justice for Cedric Tooks

Cedric Tooks is finally home after 47 years of re-sentencing at the juvenile age of 18 years old, but has a long road ahead.

Mr. Tooks turned himself in for a crime he never committed. He served 47 years for a murder and crime that he always said he was innocent of.

Cedric Tooks' story is truly heartbreaking, yet inspiring at the same time. To be wrongly convicted and serve 47 years for a crime he did not commit is unimaginable. Cedric's strength to maintain his innocence throughout and helped others find hope, faith in Jesus, and purpose in such a difficult environment speaks volumes about his character.

It is uplifting to learn that Judge Kelly Ramsey, Sanford Schulman, and the legal staff supported Cedric to victory.
