My name is Debby Kinman-Ford and, after years of promoting other schools' visions, I have decided the time has come to pursue my dream and create a school based on quality, global-minded early childhood education. Taking the best ideas from countries around the world, such as France, Norway and China, and bringing them together into a curriculum focused on emotional development, learning through play and fostering curiosity.
At Cedarville Global Community School, children will learn at a young age about the diverse world we are a part of, and will develop the building blocks to thrive in a well-rounded community focused life.
I have worked in education for over 30 years and operated a preschool that tripled in enrollment under my leadership for 16 years. I have spent my career educating children and building authentic relationships with families. I love training teachers and have worked across the country with schools to develop strong school cultures and team-based environments.
My campaign goal is to raise $15,000 by the end of January to purchase items such as furniture, school supplies, and playground equipment needed to create a warm and nurturing environment
The school's location is in negotiation and we anticipate registration to open by the end of January for a start date of mid-August. Please follow us on Facebook (CedarvilleGCS) and Instagram (@cedarvillegcs) to keep up with our latest developments. Our website will launch the week of December 21.
Thank you for your help in making this dream come true. Please message me with any questions you have.
