The Opportunity: Support Boys and Girls Tennis Teams by adding a Ball Machine 

The Reason: Coach Mayhew is an incredible teacher, coach and champion of all things tennis.

By himself, he can only do so much, and he shared with me that he wants to be able to work directly with the girls and boys players while players are hitting on the ball machine.

With a ball machine, players can be loading the machine between turns while their teammates are hitting, allowing an almost continuous opportunity to hit ball after ball.  Hitting balls is key to developing consistency and fundamental skills.

A ball machine offers that perfect pitch over and over so the player can get into a groove with their shots and make small adjustments to make big improvements.

The Goal: After researching a variety of options, we've found a wonderful solution with the Spinshot Pro for $1,399 delivered. We have about 20+ families involved between the girls and boys teams, so while not everyone may want to give, this is easily achievable in just a few days. You could also share with local businesses or others that might want to support Cedar Ridge Tennis, put on your social media site, and we have asked Spinshot for a discount but haven't received word back yet... either way...

Pressure washing of the courts
Repairs of cracks in several courts
Nets badly need replacing...
