
CEDAR BMX TORNADO RECOVERY FUND

On Tuesday May 28th, the village of Newton Ransom outside Clarks Summit Pennsylvania was hit with a National Weather Service confirmed EF1 Tornado producing winds of 90 mph. An area including Red Barn Village and Cedar BMX Park located at the same complex along with countless other homes, public buildings and a church all receiving major damage.
Cedar BMX Park, established since 1981 is a non-profit organization much like any other youth sport including local baseball, soccer and football.
The immediate clean up efforts were a huge help with volunteers removing debris and large trees as quickly as possible however other more permanent damage occurred including electrical, small building damage, seating/bleacher areas and countless other items.
With your help and the communities help, we can get hopefully remedy these issues ASAP and return to our weekly programs....
