A breast cancer recurrence has commenced, and it is a daunting, nerve-racking journey, yet again. One of the most humbling components of serious illness is asking for help in any way, with financial requests being the most uncomfortable ask of all.

As I enter into treatment, I'll have surgery, chemo, radiation and a leave of absence from work about to begin. I sincerely appreciate any financial support in addition to the emotional and physical assistance of family and friends.

Of course, never any pressure and any extra support is greatly appreciated.
