Cecilio Carrillo Jr Memorial

Hello family, friends, coworkers and those whom have had the opportunity to know Cecilio Carrillo Jr.

We have created this Gofund me in honor of Cecilio Carrillo Jr, our beloved father, and grandpa.

In June of 2021 Dad was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor of the liver and told he had 4-6 months. Treatment began quickly with his first round of chemo. His body accepted the treatment and didn’t allow for progression to occur. Later that year he was told another treatment would be needed but this treatment took a toll on his body and his health and strength began to decrease drastically. He still pushed himself to work up until a few weeks prior to being hospitalized. At the hospital our hopes of rehab were crushed due to his liver levels increasing daily and treatment no longer being an option either. We were told hospice would be the best thing for him. He was transferred to hospice care on Friday March 25th. We could see he was declining rapidly as he was retaining a lot of fluid, and all organs were beginning to fail. He passed away peacefully with family around him on 3/29/2022. He was not in any pain as they made sure he was comfortable and well taken care of.

We would like to give our father the memorial he deserves, any donations are greatly appreciated as we are not sure what medical bills and other finances that need to be settled will accumulate to.

If you asked anyone that knew Cecilio they would tell you he had the biggest heart and would give to anyone that was in need, he was just that type of person. Truly a great man.
