Cecilia Rubenstein Funeral Services

On 4/18/22 my Mom, Cecilia Rubenstein, passed and is now reunited with her brothers (Harold, Sam and Steve) and parents (Cecilia and Sam Sr). My mother's passing was unexpected and has hit our family with a heavy emotional toll, as a loss of a parent does. My younger brother has the heavy responsibility of coordinating our mother's services and end-of-life financials. I am setting up a Go Fund Me to help ease his mind and allow him to focus on the loss and not the process. Brian was extremely close to our Mom, and truley best friends. Our Mom's passing is obviously extremely hard for both of us, but this has hit him especially hard.

Cecilia was a beautiful soul, free spirit and a child of the great city of New Orleans. She loved music, food and the culture/people of New Orleans (which is unlike anywhere else on the planet). She had the biggest heart and was loved by everyone she met. My fondest memories of her are her dragging me around the city to music festivals, parades, the Rocky Horror Picture Show, Ponchtrain Beach, City Park and the Audobon Zoo. I will always walk the streets of the city with her in my mind. "She'll join the spirits, standing by to smile, on the backstreets of old New Orleans."
