Cecilia F Diamond 529 Educational Fund

Tricia’s cancer journey began in August of 2018. She was faced with many challenges along the way. Major surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, and multiple trips to Boston for scans and setbacks. Through it all Tricia would simply say “what is the next plan?” During her journey Tricia received a true blessing with the arrival of her first grandchild Cecilia who brought her endless joy, love, and strength. The bond created between grandmother and grandchild will last forever and Cecilia will know that Trisha had her future in mind by providing for her Education.

In early August 2022 Trisha made a difficult decision to stop treatment and entered Hospice care to spend her remaining time with her beloved family and friends. She had a wish to be able to provide a savings plan for Cecilia ‘s college education. We are committed to granting this wish on Tricia’s behalf and with the help of friends and family who know and love her this will be accomplished.

Tricia’s cancer battle ended on September 25 surrounded by her loving family. She will be remembered for the amazing dignity and grace that she demonstrated throughout her journey.

To support Trisha‘s wish to provide a meaningful start for a college savings plan for her granddaughter Cecilia a 529 Fidelity Educational custodial account has been set up for the purpose of college education. I will be the fund custodian until Cecilia is 18 and then the funds will be available to her for her Education. Go fund me donations raised will be transferred to this account.
