Cecil and Joye Deadman's Cruise!

In the next two years, Cecil and Joye Deadman will both celebrate their 70th birthdays as well as their 50th wedding anniversary. We would like to help them celebrate in a very big way!

As their children, we cannot remember a time they have not dreamed of going on a cruise. While they have been able to do more traveling in the last 15 years, it has almost always been a part of their work with the Baptist General Convention of Texas and supporting churches across Texas. They do stop and take time to celebrate one another and their marriage, but it has rarely been more than a meal out or a weekend away. After decades of tireless work in ministry, they never have enough extra to do something big. We want to make this dream a reality for them, and we invite you to join us. 


How much we are able to raise will determine exactly how extensive this trip will be. All funds will go toward the cost of the cruise as well as additional expenses that may be needed (airfare, meals, parking, formal attire). We know our parents well - they are amazing stewards of their money and always cut corners financially, when they can. We promise you, we will make sure they take very good care of themselves on this trip and use every dime as it is intended: a gift!

If we exceed our goal, they may even be able to choose a two-week cruise. If we do not make this goal, they will still be able to have a wonderful week away, just launching a little bit closer to home.
