Even though Cecil  had a hard life from a young age he overcame homelessness, tragedy, and violence.

Anyone meeting Cecil would say that he was nice but those who really  knew him found that he had a heart of gold. Cecil was the sole provider for his family but still went out of his way to help anyone including distressed motorists, shut ins, the homeless, and strays. He worked at The Breakers at Windmill Lakes for five years and loved the residents and his work family there.  He loved animals, making  people laugh, and telling stories about his life.

Cecil passed away at only 59 years old this past weekend.
