On April 5th, 2016, CeCe went to the ER with abdominal pain and received the greatest shock of her life. She has Stage 4 Colon Cancer!
The doctors proceeded with a CT Scan of her abdomen and gave CeCe the news that they found a mass on her liver and nodules on her lung. Not sure of the origin of the cancer, the doctors continued with more testing. A colonoscopy revealed a 5 cm cancerous mass in her colon. On Thursday, April 14, 2016, the doctors told CeCe that she has Stage 4 Colon Cancer and she will have to undergo procedure to have a port put in and start chemo immediately to stop the cancer from spreading any further. She will also face a life time of chemotherapy treatments and God willing she can avoid surgery as a surgery will delay her chemo treatment.
The amount of pain and fatigue that CeCe is suffering from and by counsel of her doctors, she is no longer able to work.
Those are the medical facts regarding CeCe, but the fact is she has a long road of treatment, healing and recovery ahead of her. Your love, support and kindness is going to make the all the difference in the process for this wonderful woman. She has been the rock for so many people, it is time for us to be there for her during this difficult time in her life. She is going to have medical expenses, living expenses, and personal expenses as this is going to be the greatest challenge she has ever faced in her life. You may think that giving a small amount won’t help her, but any amount throughout her treatment is a blessing and will help ease the troubles and worries she is already feeling at this time. Please make her treatment one where she can focus on positivity and healing. Thank you and God Bless!
