Beating Stage 4 Liver Cancer
Donation protected
Hello all,
As many of you know in June 2014 our mother, Joan Bowman, was diagnosed with lung and stomach cancer. Within two months she had two surgeries to remove the cancer cells from both her lung and stomach. As a preventative measure to keep the cancer from returning she was also given chemotherapy and radiation treatment. On April 14, 2015, after 41 chemo treatments 5 weeks and 3 days of radiation she rang the bell in completion of her treatment.
During a routine checkup in May 2015, doctors noticed a spot on her liver. A month later our worst fears were confirmed, the cancer had returned. This cancer is diagnosed as stage 4 Ampullary Liver Cancer. The doctors has given her a projected 6 months to a year to live. Our faith teaches us that GOD is the Alpha and the Omega the healer of all things. We refuse to give up on her life and will pursue all measures to treat and get rid of this disease once and for all. We have consulted with different doctors for different opinions on how to battle this illness. She has been offered to undergo alternative treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX and at The Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. While alternative treatment provides hope for Joan and our family, it is overall very costly.
This isn't easy for us we are a private family, none of us like to ask for money but we are just asking for help. This situation has changed us all and we are willing to do everything we can. Joan is the backbone and biggest support system of our family and we are enduring this fight along with her.
Thanking you in advance for any donations big or small. Much Love and Blessings to you all.

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
