Together We Will Win

How much would you pay for the life of your child?
These days the going price is $600,000!!! If you have less than this then you are preparing a grave for your baby. From these two choices what would you do? You would get the money anyway you could.
45134716_1580365838156650_r.jpegAfter being in remission for two years, 14 year old Eli was diagnosed with relapse medulloblastoma, the brain cancer he was diagnosed with at age 11 had now metastasised outside of the central nervous system to his bones and bone marrow.

Eli’s amazing oncologist Professor David Ziegler immediately began a new protocol in the hopes of achieving remission again. Unfortunately the cancer did not respond to this treatment or a subsequent clinical trial. Thankfully an amazing doctor from from the US has consulted with Eli‘s team to recommend a different treatment which he believes is a curative option. This treatment is unavailable in Australia for patients with medulloblastoma.

Because Eli is not a citizen of the United States the treatment is very expensive. The family cannot afford this treatment. Sadly, Eli‘s dad passed away 18 months before Eli was diagnosed and Eli’s mum is unable to work as caring for him is her first priority. Eli’s hometown of Batemans Bay has recently been devastated by bushfire to make matters worse.
45134716_1580366596237498_r.jpegHow much do you spend on coffee each week? For the cost of a cup of coffee, you can help. If you cannot donate please share this campaign with everyone you know and ask them to share too. We need to make this campaign global, there is power in numbers and if we can get 600,000 people to donate one dollar each we have achieved our goal to save Eli‘s life.

45134716_1580366497117085_r.jpegAnd if you ever wonder, what it's like to be a 'cancer parent' .... imagine

Imagine being told your child is seriously ill.

Imagine crying until you think there's nothing left.

Imagine feeling like you've been punched in the stomach and wandering the corridors, as if your life was on pause.

Imagine signing a consent form knowing that death is an option.

Imagine having to hand over your child to surgeons over and over for endless hours and waiting.

Imagine your child covered in wires with a machine breathing for them.

Imagine the terror ...

Imagine the pain of having to leave your baby in the care of strangers and not be able to sleep by their side.

Imagine standing by as your baby's body is pumped full of medication.

Imagine seeing your child resuscitated and been so close to leaving you.

Imagine holding your baby down countless times while someone sticks needles in them while they scream.

Imagine the guilt ...

Imagine keep being told the percentage chances that your child might survive or leave you.

Imagine not being able to leave the house for fear of infection.

Imagine not being able to make any plans apart from hospital visits.

Imagine being stuck in isolation and not see anything but four walls for days on end.

Imagine perfect strangers passing comment about your daughter/son.

And with the emptiness ...

Imagine how fragile and precious life feels.

45134716_1580366811242584_r.jpegThere is a cure for Eli but we need your help. This type of cancer does not discriminate, it is not hereditary, there are no known environmental factors that contribute to this cancer, this can happen to anyone’s child at any time. Please donate and share. Help make Eli’s story go viral.

45134716_1580366845998506_r.jpegI want to thank each and everyone of you for your donation, for sharing this campaign and for your love and support. Together we can make sure Eli gets to the United States for the treatment he needs to save his life. Thank you from Eli, his mum and his brother. This campaign has been setup by Eli’s mum, Sarah.
