HELP ME TO SAVE MY FATHER’S LIFE

JOSE ALBERTO MURILLO KOPPEL, ecuatoriano, 62 años, jubilado, esposo padre y abuelo ejemplar.
Please help me to save my father’s life, Jose Alberto Murillo Koppel, of Ecuadorian descent, is a 62 year old retired husband, father, and exemplary grandfather. Everybody that knows him can tell that he is dedicated to his work and his family.
On May 2015, he was diagnosed with a malignant tumor, located on his right kidney along with bilateral deep vein thrombosis that extends from his legs into his heart. This is a very rare case and only happens in 4-10% of the population of patients with kidney cancer. In Ecuador, there is no surgery for this tumor or treatment due to the risk of blood clot.
He can also not have a biopsy to stage the tumor because of the risk of bleeding out. Because this can’t be completed in Ecuador, chemotherapy can’t be initiated. Ecuadorian doctors refuse to treat my father because of new malpractice laws that have been implemented in the country.
As a result of this impediment, I found private care for my father, and they decided to start oral treatment of chemotherapy with a cost of $4,500 a month. We were able to afford the first month of treatment due to our family willing to sell their belongings and donate the money to my father’s treatment. This has become a hardship for my whole family. We will no longer be able to afford this private treatment.
Since last year, in the United States (Los Angeles), surgeries are being made available to remove the blood clots and rebuild the damaged vessels and kidney via a robot. Doctor Inderbir Gill is the pioneer of this surgery that is very expensive due to its complexity. Doctor Gill and Doctor Sotelo have reviewed my father’s medical exams and they gave us the good news that my father is a candidate for this surgery. With much gratitude and appreciation, I am seeking your financial help from my friends, family, or anyone that is willing to help us save my father’s life.
