Hello everybody, I just wanted to possibly ask for a little help. Our grandfather has been told that his fight with melanoma is at its end and there is nothing further they can do. It saddens my heart and my family is at a loss on how we can possibly get everything together to give him the best goodbye possible.

He has been the rock of the family and losing him is going to take a toll on everybody in its own special way. He has been Santa at Traverse Mall every year for the longest time; he has been Santa at different places, giving all the kiddos someone to make their wishes come true! And now it’s our turn to try and return the favor. If there is any way you could even donate a dollar, it would be greatly appreciated.

We are looking to do cremation and have him placed in a “niche” so we can have him around for many years to come.
