On Feb 17 Elizabeth and Julia Triplett got a call that no family should get. JT, Elizabeth’s son, Julia’s brother had been shot in an unfortunate incident. At the hospital the doctors informed Elizabeth that the damage to his body is extensive and would required multiple surgeries to save his life with more surgeries to come. The road to recovery for JT and his family is going to be long with doctors visits, round the clock home care, and surgeries in the coming weeks and months. We are asking for help for this wonderful family. The medical bills are piling up and they need our help. Any amount is greatly appreciated.

It has been 10 day since the incident and much of it is a blur. The only truth I have found at the end of each day is that we are blessed. I can find zero logic that can explain this situation and yet each day I am able to see the blessings that have just showed up the moment we needed it. The pain and trauma of this situation is very real…but so are the miracles and blessings that have gotten us through each day, one by one. It has been community that has gotten us gotten us this far. Words will never be enough to describe the appreciation I have for community help right now. Community support to but be able to provide the best medical care and medical supplies he needs and will need in the months to come.
