Help Odie Walk Again: Urgent Surgery Needed
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Grace, and the sweet soul in the photos is my beloved Odie.
Odie came into my life 10 years ago, a tiny rescue pup with big eyes and an even bigger heart. From the very beginning, he has been my quiet healer, my protector, my constant. He’s not just a pet—he’s my emotional support, my shadow, my family. Odie has a rare gift: he feels with you. He can sense sadness, grief, joy—he leans in when you’re hurting and offers a kind of love that’s almost human.
He saved me more times than I can count—most profoundly when I was losing my dad to cancer. Through every moment of heartbreak and loss, Odie was there. A steady heartbeat in the chaos. I honestly don’t know who I would be without him.
Now, he’s the one who needs saving.
Odie is once again suffering from a herniated disc that has left his back legs paralyzed. He went through this once before, in 2020, and bravely recovered after surgery—returning to a full, joyful life filled with walks, snuggles, and the love of everyone who meets him. This time, the road is harder. He needs an MRI that costs $5,000, and if surgery is possible again, it could be another $15,000.
We’re facing a heartbreaking reality: without this surgery, we may have to say goodbye far too soon. And yet we know that with the right care, Odie could have 5–10 more years of life—of love, warmth, and gentle presence. He deserves that chance. I’m not ready to lose him, and he’s not ready to go.
If you feel moved to help, even the smallest contribution means the world. Thank you for reading, and for holding space for the love of a dog who has given everything he has to this world
