Help me keep. Roof over my head

Hello friends!

My name is Charley and I’m in a bit of a bind. Long story short… or as short as I can make it.

In June of this year, the company I worked for had a reduction in workforce (aka layoffs.) I’ve been diligently applying and looking for work, as I’m sure most of you are aware, it’s challenging out there.

The bad news is my unemployment insurance ran out on the 10th of December.

The good news is, that on 12/27 I was offered a position which I accepted however, it doesn’t begin until 1/9/24. Add to that the three week processing period for the first check to come through. Meaning that I won’t get a check until the last week of January at best, more than likely, first week of February.

Here’s the breakdown:

My share of rent: $870

Food: roughy $100 per week give/take $20

Gas: $50 per week.

Total: $1470

GoFundMe: $43

Goal to reach: $1514

I’m hoping in my heart that the good people of the internet will help me keep a roof over my head and some food in my stomach.
