CDS Choir Family for Ben and Beth Hardy

Ben and Beth Hardy, two members of the Corona del Sol choir community, were in a horrible car accident on September 1 ,2020.  Beth, who was sitting in the passenger seat, was transported to the hospital.  She has had 6 surgeries to heal gashes in her legs and her shattered ankle, while experiencing other medical complications.  The family is so grateful Beth is in stable condition, and hope she can come home from the hospital soon.  Ben is okay, but understandably very shaken up.  They both owe their lives to wearing their seatbelts! Due to the accident, the family has experienced some financial hardship, loss of their car and rising hospital bills.  Although this time has been difficult, the family feels surrounded in love from their neighbors and friends.

Ben (a CDS choir alumni) and Beth (a current CDS choir student) have both been a big part of our choir family.  When choir council and their fellow choir members heard about the Hardy’s accident, they wanted to do something for the family to show them that we love them, we are thinking about them, and that we are here for them.  And we hope that we can help alleviate some of the financial burden on this single parent family as they recover from this accident.
