Hello my name is Gitonna Jernigan & On February 5th 2016 at 10:21pm I gave birth to my first child Aubrielle Everly Jernigan-Rivera she was 8lbs 6oz 21in long. The Doctors told me she wasn't breathing & that she had suffered from severe brain damage during delivery & she went a long time without oxygen because they did not get her out fast enough, so then she was pronounced Brain Dead. My daughter was on the ventilator for about a week in a half, they told me she'll never be able to open her eyes, cry, breathe, talk, walk, or make movements on her own and will have no Quality of life. Welp she proved them wrong cause she started breathing on her own, but it was still nothing they can do about her condition & they did inform me that she won't do it for long, so I took her home on Wednesday February 24 that was the happiest day of my life, just to have her home with me but on Sunday evening February 28 2016 at 7:30pm my daughter opened her eyes and looked at me then took her last breath. I screamed and yelled to the top of my lungs cause I knew it was nothing I can do. This hurt me and I have to live with this for the rest of my life. All because of a "mistake" made by the doctors my precious perfectly healthy Angel was taken from me, these people killed my daughter and I will fight it until I can't no more, Justice will be served. Rest in Heaven to my beautiful princess.
