Mission

The Palmetto Scholars Academy Instrumental Music Program firmly believes that every child deserves an excellent music education that allows students to cultivate knowledge of the theory and history of music, performance skills, and emotional experiences through the performance of excellent music. The PSA Instrumental Music Program is committed to providing such an education through the medium of instrumental music.

Goals for the next year

Attend the Berkeley county Jazz festival (April)

A clinic where students can perform for professional musicians and experienced band directors. The staff members offer feedback and give the students a MUSIC workshop.

Community performances outside of the school

Introduce students to local professional musicians
