Maya is a 5 year old dog and has IVDD (intervertebral disc disease.) It’s onset was sudden and the road ahead is uncertain as Maya will need specialized vet care, MRI, lab testing and meds to help investigate and treat this disease. These expenses are not cheap, this gofundme is to help Maya’s devoted and loving dog mom, Alyssa with the financial aspect of Maya’s care. Maya will require extra and routine care at home as well while Alyssa is also working to further her career she recently obtained an education to pursue. Maya has-been an extremely active and healthy dog for her whole life and now is paralyzed from the waist down so this change is a huge and quick adjustment to Maya and Alyssa’s lives.
