Dear fellow Casa del Mar Owners,
It happened overnight.
At least that's how it felt.
When the year began, Casa del Mar was looking at another year of improvement and growth. Then came the coronavirus outbreak, and everything changed. Now Casa del Mar is shut down. When we can open again is unknown.
Currently, Management and the Board of Directors are working to secure the resort and continue as many of our planned improvements as we can, while continuing to provide assistance to our loyal team members.
Since tourism is the main contributor to the Aruba economy, this unprecedented time is a major impact to the islands economy. It also impacts our loyal team associates, many of whom rely on the tips they receive from our members. While protecting their health is a concern, so is the impact of the uncertainty of the days ahead.
We have received Emails from members asking how they can contribute to a fund to assist the CDM staff during this difficult time.
As a result Casa del Mar has established a fund that members can contribute to that will be distributed equally to our line employees. The Casa del Mar ONETEAM! Fund will provide members with an opportunity to assist our CDM team members to get through the uncertainty of these times which has impacted their life and the lives of their families.
