C-Diff is Killing My Best Friend

I've watched my best friend, Mia suffer for almost a year now. She started losing weight rapidly and experiencing severe abdominal pain and anything she ate went right through her. After several tests and months of doctor's visits, she tested positive for C-diff.

Mia has reached the life-threatening level. She's been hospitalized a number of times for malnutrition, electrolyte imbalance and has been battling with crashing blood pressure. All of the traditionial treatments have failed to eliminate this bacteria from her body.
On November 14th Mia had a healthy-cell transplant done. This procedure is still considered experimental but it was Mia's hope for finaly gaining her life back. The transplant costs $4,000 and it failed. Mia is now hospitalized again and awaiting a second attempt at the transplant. Insurance does not cover this.
Her famliy has stepped in to help with her children, between hospital stays she has been dragging herself to work, her husband is taking time off of work now as well and medical bills are just stacking up.
