CDH Fighter Céline

Update: With heavy hearts, our sweet baby girl Céline, gained her butterfly wings on March 8th peacefully in her parent’s arms at Boston Children’s Hospital. She was loved beyond measure and will be truly missed.

Hi. I’m Holly, Abby’s sister and Céline’s Aunt. I’m starting this fund in support of Abby and Pablo, in response to an overwhelming number of generous people looking to help their family! ❤️

Céline was born on December 12, 2023 with 2 rare conditions, the first being a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) which caused some of her organs to travel into chest leaving her left lung limited space to grow and an omphalocele which her liver stomach and intestines were formed outside of her body. She was born via c section and taken immediately to Boston’s Children’s NICU where she was intubated and placed on a ventilator. She has since had her hernia repair, which went well but was placed on ECMO the following day. She’s fighting infections and pulmonary hypertension. The future is hopeful but she needs all the positive thoughts and prayers, as her NICU stay is projected to be at least 5 months.
