CDC Studios Security Camera Fundraiser

Hello CDC Studios family,

As some of you may know, we have a “spirited” neighbour who has an issue with anyone parking in his street along the side of the studio. His bad behaviour has escalated recently and he has “allegedly” vandalized all the locks on every door to the studio. Unfortunately police are unable to help us as there is no CCTV footage of the incident and the landlord will not assist with repairs.

This is where we need your help - after fighting tooth and nail to keep our studio doors open, with enrollments down due to COVID-19, no rent relief from the landlord, no business boost from NSW government, 10 weeks of forced closure with no prior notice, no income from studio hire to cover rent, increased costs of buying bulk disinfecting and cleaning supplies and the added expense of replacing all locks, we now need your help to get these cameras installed. A lovely parent has kindly secured us a quote for 6 cameras and installation for a great price.

In lieu of fundraising bbqs and cake stalls, we have set up this gofundme and are reaching out to you all in the hopes of encouraging families in our dance community, who would like to to contribute, to please help us raise the funds to cover this unexpected cost.

Whilst we have no present concerns for the safety of our families and teachers, we cannot afford to repair further damage caused by this nuisance neighbour, with no hope for police intervention.  We know that having cameras installed will increase safety and security of our wonderful studio, families and teachers as well as the local community.
