Help Juan Esteban with his fifth surgery.

Hello, I´m Fatima Espin. I have a 3-year-old boy pretty-handsome nephew, who lives in Quito-Ecuador. His name is Juan Esteban and he was born with a congenital melanocytic nevus. Since birth, Juan Esteban has had to undergo 4 surgeries to remove this mole, which could become malignant in the future. In October of 2024, Juan Esteban will have his fifth surgery, and we hope with all our hearts that it will be the last.

While my brother and sister in-law do everything they can do to cover the costs, including medical expenses, household needs, school for Juan Esteban, and his older sister Isabella, they are facing a tough financial situation. That’s why we’ve decided to ask for help in raising $11,000CAD to continue with his treatments after surgery.

Juan Esteban is a sweet and brave child who, despite his young age, has faced each of his surgeries with a smile. Actually, sometimes he tries to cheer up the rest of the family.

He loves Spider-Man and playing with his toy cars, but what he enjoys the most, is spending time with his sister Isabella and his family. Though he knows these surgeries are necessary for his well-being, the most recent ones have been harder for him, and he feels more and more intimidated.

Your help would make a huge difference in our lives, allowing us to continue Juan Esteban’s treatment without the financial burden becoming overwhelming for my brother and sister in-law. Hola, soy Fátima Espín, tía de Juan Esteban, un precioso niño de 3 años de Quito, Ecuador, que nació con un nevus melanocítico congénito. Desde su nacimiento, Juan Esteban ha tenido que someterse a 4 operaciones para retirar este lunar, que podría volverse maligno en el futuro. En octubre de 2024, Juan Esteban tendrá su quinta operación, y esperamos con todo el corazón que sea la última.

Aunque mi hermano y mi cuñada hacen todo lo posible por cubrir los costos, entre los gastos médicos, la manutención del hogar, la escuela de Juan Esteban y su hermana mayor Isabella, se encuentran en una situación financiera difícil. Por eso, hemos decidido pedir ayuda para reunir $11,000CAD y poder continuar con los tratamientos después de la operación.

Juan Esteban es un niño dulce y valiente que, a pesar de su corta edad, ha enfrentado cada una de sus operaciones con una sonrisa.

Le encanta Spider-Man y jugar con sus carritos, pero lo que más disfruta es pasar tiempo con su hermana Isabella y con toda la familia. Aunque sabe que estas operaciones son necesarias para su bienestar, las últimas han sido más difíciles para él, y cada vez se siente más intimidado.
